The prayers, unyielding faith and efforts of slaves in 1872 marked the beginning of what would eventually establish Salem Baptist Church on Rosstown Road in Marshall, VA.

Our history is a testimony to the power of prayer and faith and what it can accomplish and fix in our lives. Through God, all things are possible.
